Exemplary administrators honored at ASBO's annual meeting. LARRY WILLIAMS, ASSISTANT SUPERINTENDENT FOR facilities andconstruction in the Lewisville (Texas)Independent School District,received the Pinnacle of Excellence Award at the annual meeting of theAssociation of School Business Officials International (ASBO ASBOBrit antisocial behaviour order ) in Chicagoin October. He was honored for spearheading a project to make hisdepartment's work more efficient and more cost-effective. The CAO is one of the highest ranking members of an organization, managing daily operations and usually reporting directly to the chief executive ofStudent Transportation Services of Central Ontario in Peterborough,Ontario; and Nita R. Mensia-Joseph, director of operations forPortsmouth (Va.) Public Schools. Also present were two representativesfrom furniture and equipment maker Virco, which co-sponsored the awardwith ASBO: Toni Bock (far left), director of community relations, andLarry Wonder (far right), vice president of sales.
